Pixel drawing, 15 colours (graphics compo):

Competition for computers Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum. One entry per author. The picture size - 256x192 points, 2 colours in attribute 8X8 points. Scanned pictures or ones ported from other computers with postprocessing are prohibited. Original works only, authors should present 10 or more stages of their work in progress or the jury will lower the marks. Entries shouldn't include author's or group's logo. Entries containing soft or explicit pornography, scenes of violence, abusive expressions are banned.

Pixel drawing, 102 colours (gigascreen graphics compo):

Competition for computer ZX Spectrum. One entry per author. Resolution - default 256x192 pixels screen, 13824b. Scanned pictures or ones ported from other computers with postprocessing are prohibited. Original works only, authors should present 10 or more stages of their work in progress or the jury will lower the marks. Entries shouldn't include author's or group's logo. Entries containing soft or explicit pornography, scenes of violence, abusive expressions are banned.

Synthesised music (coprocessor AY-3-8910A):

Competition for computer ZX Spectrum. One entry per author. 16384b max. The maximum duration of a track is 2 minutes.

Synthesised music (С64 SID):

Competition for computer Commodore 64. One entry per author. Accepted only previously unreleased executable C64 files for SID 6581 or 8580, maximum playing time is 2 minutes. Set SID version in registration form.

Multichannel music: (*.MOD, sound card General Sound):

Competition for IBM PC computers, Amiga, ZX Spectrum. One entry per author. The *.MOD file format, 4 channels, 450kb max. The maximum duration of a track is 2 minutes.

Procedural graphics (1K GFX):

Competition for the ZX Spectrum computer. Works in this compo must be machine code or BASIC programs not larger than 1024 bytes, which are create single still image. Calculation time must be acceptable, not longer than few minutes. Only screenshots will be shown at the party. Only one entry per author. The program must be in single binary or BASIC file, machine code programs will be run without the Basic loader. State of the computer at start of the intro is undefined (unknown screen and border colors, unknown stack address). Entries with soft or explicit pornography, scenes of violence, abusive expressions are banned.

Competition for the ZX Spectrum computer. Only one entry per author. Machine code and BASIC programs are allowed. The intro must be in single binary or BASIC file not larger than 1024 bytes. Machine code intros will be run without the Basic loader. State of the computer at start of the intro is undefined (unknown screen and border colors, unknown stack address). The maximum demonstration time is 2 minutes. Entries with soft or explicit pornography, scenes of violence, abusive expressions are banned.

Programming (demo compo):

Competition for computer ZX Spectrum. One entry per author or per group. 640kb max. Entries containing soft or explicit pornography, scenes of violence, abusive expressions are banned. The maximum demonstration time is 10 minutes. Entries with soft or explicit pornography, scenes of violence, abusive expressions are banned.

ZX Spectrum realtime drawing compo:

Themed drawing in any ZX graphics software of your own choice. 1.5 hours to make a picture from scratch.

Additional competitions:

Organizers of festival will consider any sentences on carrying out of additional competitions. That competition has taken place, it's necessary to send at least three works from different authors.

General rules for all the nominations:

One entry per author in every nomination. Previously unreleased works only. Entries should be accompanied by the filled out registration forms.

In case of extremely low quality or abusive works the jury will exercise it's right to ban the entry.

The authors of banned works will be informed about it with the explanation of reasons

The nomination gathered less than 3 entries will be cancelled.

Submitting entries:

Entries are accepted via e-mail or directly from authors at the partyplace (5.25/3.5 TR-DOS standart floppy disks, CD, DVD, flashdrives). Submitting via e-mail you'll receive the confirmation letter in 3 days, otherwise you should retry once more. Deadlines are December 5 for e-mail submissions and 2 hours from the party opening for these who are going to present at the partyplace in person.

Voting system:

The competent jury consisting of people having much experience on ZX scene will estimate entries to determine the winners. Judges themselves are not allowed to participate in any competition lest there were any doubt in their impartiality.

People's Choice:

In addition to the winners decided by the jury visitors at the partyplace will vote on entries showed on the big screen too deciding the people's choice in every nomination. Works are voted from 0 to 10 points max.

Award ceremony:

Winners taken 1-3 places in every nomination receive diplomas and prizes. These who won't present at the party in person will get just the diploma sent by post.

Cybersport:

All visitors can try their skills in the special competition playing old games on ZX Spectrum computers. Winners will get gifts and presents.

The best exhibit:

Only retro computers manufactured before 1993 inclusive, allowed to participate in exhibition. Working capacity and software presence is welcomed. The application form for participation in an exhibition send in advance, the quantity of exhibition places is limited.
